Description
If something has brought you here to this page, whether it was curiosity or coincidence, you were meant to find it at exactly this moment. The goal of this course is to empower you to take charge of your wellness. It's as simple as that. Ayurveda is a tried-and-true ancient Indian medical system and is entirely holistic. This system is the sister science of yoga and is meant to treat imbalances and individuals as individuals. Through the use of lifestyle modifications, diet, yoga, breathwork, and herbs, Ayurveda encourages preventative health practices as a means to maintain longevity and live in harmony with the cycles of nature. Through this course, we learn to view the world through an elemental lens and reconnect ourselves with our true nature. Ayurveda teaches us the importance of digestion--because of that, this course has been structured into 14 bite-sized daily assignments. The course may also be watched all at once if that is your learning preference. This 4,000-year-old system is quite complex but is simplified in this course so the teachings are accessible to anyone and everyone. This course covers:The roots of AyurvedaThe relationship between Yoga & AyurvedaThe discovery of your unique constitution of doshasDaily routines (dinacharya & sadhana)Introduction to the ayurvedic dietKitchari clinicTherapeutic yoga for Vata, Pitta, and KaphaAyurvedic skincarePranayama (yogic breath work) to balance the doshasGuided meditationJournaling reflectionQuizzes to understand our tendencies a little bit betterAt the end of this course, you will have the tools necessary to create a personalized ayurvedic lifestyle for yourself, your family, and your friends. It would be an honor to guide you along your healing journey!
