404 Error Page

Well, a couple of days ago I started to develop a professional blog using Ruby on Rails (

), even with it being in early stages of development I created the http error pages using materializecss because I don't like the default ones.

This is how they actually look like



Do you think it is fine or should I change something?

Looks nice and simple, clean too.

What do you guys think about it's colour? should I change it?

I think if he removed error and the - and put 404 under its look 100x better but that's just me.

I think shorter is better especially with a text 404.

Well idk I'm not familiar with 404 page coding or any coding. I know a little though

It's just a page displayed when a file or directory doesn't exist.

I like original 404 pages but when it's just text I think simplistic is best. Not a fan of sentences or big words.

It wouldn't be the same if it is a blog from ruby and you don't use a color like this

I updated the design, now the 404 is on top, the description is below and the navbar is gone.

It looks clean and professional mate good job
