Photoshop is great for editing pictures or raster-based stuff. Illustrator is better for logos or vector-based stuff. Our header BGs were edited in Photoshop, but our logo was made in Illustrator.

Finally, the answer I longed-for. Even my work couldn't provide a definitive reply.

Now It makes sense why my work uses Illustrator. They design logos for the fashion Industry.
Thanks for clarifying It.

I use photoshop cs5 and cs6

Almost every designer I know uses Photoshop.

That said, my work use Adobe Illustrator. I'm not Into GFX (I only crack the programs, not use them), so I'm Interested to know which of the two Is better and why.

Although, because Photoshop is now subscription based, there are new alternatives popping up, and many users are leaving.

Staff aren't supposed to talk about piracy, but... [redacted]

I know, but it still annoys me to the point that I pirated Affinity instead of Illustrator.

You have some skill, I dont know how people have the ability to do things like this. It looks great, you should make it a bit smaller, and set it as your signature again.

Yes It's been subscription-based for a little while now.

Verifying the subscription each month, collaborating, sharing and syncing files and so forth- there goes the end users privacy.
