Create an account

Very important

  • To access the important data of the forums, you must be active in each forum and especially in the leaks and database leaks section, send data and after sending the data and activity, data and important content will be opened and visible for you.
  • You will only see chat messages from people who are at or below your level.
  • More than 500,000 database leaks and millions of account leaks are waiting for you, so access and view with more activity.
  • Many important data are inactive and inaccessible for you, so open them with activity. (This will be done automatically)

Are there any disadvantages to always using nvarchar(MAX)?

#21
My tests have shown that there are differences when selecting.

CREATE TABLE t4000 (a NVARCHAR(4000) NULL);

CREATE TABLE tmax (a NVARCHAR(MAX) NULL);

DECLARE @abc4 NVARCHAR(4000) = N'ABC';

INSERT INTO t4000
SELECT TOP 1000000 @abc4
FROM
master.sys.all_columns ac1,
master.sys.all_columns ac2;

DECLARE @abc NVARCHAR(MAX) = N'ABC';

INSERT INTO tmax
SELECT TOP 1000000 @abc
FROM
master.sys.all_columns ac1,
master.sys.all_columns ac2;

SET STATISTICS TIME ON;
SET STATISTICS IO ON;

SELECT * FROM dbo.t4000;
SELECT * FROM dbo.tmax;
