I'm a very minimalist guy, I basically have 2-3 colours in my whole desktop and different shades. I like everything to blend in.

My crappy Windows Vista desktop. I'm going to be honest, I don't even use half the applications in the dock. I just downloaded them so that I'll eventually learn Java and graphics.
