Destiny 2 players are already doing insane things to the first raid

With Destiny 2‘s first raid, Leviathan, open to all players who possess enough power to take on the difficult mission, getting through the epic battle has proven to be a challenge for even the most seasoned pros. However, give Guardians time to practice and create a game plan and magical things can happen. Two different sets of fireteams have already paved the way to glory by completing the entire raid in record time and defying expectations when encountering Leviathan’s final boss.

As posted by fireteam member mattyex83 on YouTube, which you can see below, the first team to get a spotlight conquered Leviathan in under a half hour—27 minutes and 28 seconds to be exact. They now hold the current world record for fastest completion time, starting from spawn to the loot reward collection end. The fireteam consisted of six members that had practiced the mission several times before attempting the speedrun, and their efforts paid off in the end. Players hoping to follow in the footsteps of their glory can look for tips like using the Voidwalker subclass in the Pleasure Gardens section or picking the best exotic weapon for the job.

The team’s speed on defeating Calus was impressive, but it apparently could have been better. That brings us to the second epic team to get their time in the Light. Another six-person fireteam managed to defy the odds and take down the tough final boss emperor in four minutes. Players have had issues defeating Calus as he takes several forms and requires fast-acting precision from Guardians to deal damage. A large part of overcoming him is standing on golden plates that make the boss vulnerable to attacks, and while the previous team was able to take him down using four plates, this latest team only had to use one. The team’s success came down to their hours of practice and the specific gear they equipped to apply extra buffs. Carrying over from the previous team, picking the right subclass also seems to hold lots of weight, as the Hunters focused on using Golden Gun over its other two options.

I've never personally played this game continuously i tried it a few times and just didn't like it. My little brother (he's a cock sucker) plays it religiously and will probably school his punk ass by assembling a fire team and using the same techniques these guys did lol

Already beaten the raid multiple times across a couple characters. It's quite a feat to complete it in less than 30 minutes. Apparently a group of deaf people managed to do the raid as well.
