FTID might be an option, since sony gives you a shipping label to send it for repairs.

Where I live it's pretty easy, they send you the label, you make sure it gets delivered somewhere close, then wait like 2 weeks and call them asking about your return, they won't be able to find it and they'll see your "ps5" was delivered, which will make them issue a replacement.

Using a serial number from another ps5 it could possibly brick it so it would be wise to just get one off the internet
