I did forget to ask one thing. What sort of effects are you going to be adding, if any to a members' username? Like with otaku, the "-Chan" suffix on the end.

Otaku is the only group we've done that for. Normally groups are restricted to just a color.

Just an update, but I was wrong. Our Groups document says that Tier 3 groups are allowed to select effects. That said, they do have to be minimal, and can't be confused with primary groups.
