The first Steam Box revealed.

I just honestly don't see PC gamers getting into it maybe just to hop on the fan wagon but console gamers might get a use out of it.

because you can take your steam box with you, you can play it on a way more places + there will be for sure USB Ports.

We don't know the shape, the look and what Valve have planned for the console. So I you're correct in saying that there will be USB ports, but how do you know it might be some chunky ass console, which nobody would want to take anywhere.

I am sure it will. It is Steam, every PC Gamer has it and ever PC Gamer will buy it.

Yse but xbox has microsofts budget backing it and that's bigger than mosts gaming franchises.

maybe, but it is not only about the Money, Steam will gain a lot of money with their Box; I am sure.

Advertising can out do a lot of things and money is very important.

Although why would active PC gamers move onto a console it makes no sense to me that way?

Yes but most PC gamers, game on the PC because they don't like console gaming or prefer PC gaming more.

because of the Mouse and Keyboard.
if they use a wireless Keyboard and Mouse, there will be no problem.

It might just take over the industry as long as it can compete with advertising etc.

I am sure it will. It is Steam, every PC Gamer has it and ever PC Gamer will buy it.

Most gamers hate using Wireless mouses and keyboards due to input lag, just like how they're really fussy with their monitors/TV.

people can hide their cable behind furniture for example.

maybe?, maybe the Steambox waits until the other next-gen consoles are going to be released.

Even if they wait it won't help them they'd have to redesign the whole outside of it if they wanted it to be smaller and most likely change things and that means more time and money.
