UK: PM Liz Truss Resigns - Shortest-Serving PM

Although very UK-centric news, the British PM's impact global markets and economies, so I thought I'd share some of the latest here.

Liz Truss, the current Conservative party leader and Prime Minister, has announced her resignation, making her the shortest serving Prime Minister in History, at just 45 days in office.

This now means there's a new leadership race. There are mentions of Boris Johnson to be a potential candidate to bring back, and mentions of Rishi Sunak (the person who came second in the race against Liz Truss).

As delightful as British politics is, does anyone have any preferences on who they'd like to see as Britain's PM? Go for funny or serious responses! I would not say no to Arnold Schwarzenegger at this rate.

It's crazy that she's going to be paid $129,000 every year for the rest of her life now because she spent 44 days in position.

To clarify, this isn't a salary:

- Not my fave source by any means, but they do a decent job of explaining it.

Equally they don't become leaders without outrageous promises right? Although, to be fair, Liz did do exactly what she said she was going to do xD

Are the expenditures for the £115,000 public? Seems like that money could be easily misappropriated.

Why wouldn't they be able to? If a female can cook and run a house, it would suggest they're the most suited to practical decision making.

Yet, somehow still not the worst out there currently? Interesting world we live in.
