haven't heard anyone talk about Minecraft in a few years. Is the hype gone?

Minecraft was huge over a decade ago, but I also haven't heard anything In the last couple of years or so.

I still got a younger brother (9) who plays it religiously by himself and his friends.

He tells me about it sometimes and they have updated it adding a lot of content. But I stopped playing a good 10 years ago.

Heard from my brother that most his age have moved away from fortnite and started playing minecraft instead, apparently it got quite the resurgence. Installed it but wow has it changed a lot from when I used to play.

all the servers are kinda dead theres only weirdos and tiny kids on there now

Minecraft is definitely not dead, it's incredibly popular.
The thing is that many servers just aren't as good as they used to be, though.
