Why do you want to be a Guardian?:
Guardian is a high quality group, made up of high quality members. The members are giving back the community, and teaching the community about various topics. I'm coming back to Discussion Zone, and I want to be apart of Guardian, so I can help Guardian be even more high quality, I want to teach, and give back to the community in the name of Guardian, I want to be a Guardian. I want to join Guardian, because it is a great group, that fits with who I am.

Do you enjoy helping people?:
Most definitely. Sometimes it can be a tad irritating, but I definitely enjoy assisting people, and helping them out, especially when I can tell they get ah-hah! moment, where it all finally clicks. I really enjoy that, and would love to help people in the community on a more regular basis.

Special skills:
Computer Security
I've been studying computer security for several years now, and as the years have passed my interest in it has grown. I enjoy finding, and using vulnerabilities, and just understanding what goes down when you do certain things. What happens behind the scenes to make something happen, I enjoy that. I plan to go to school for IT Computer Security, and further my knowledge, but what I do know now, I am willing to pass on to others.

Graphic Communications, and Design
Graphic design has always been a hobby of mine, an everlasting one at that. I've never grown dull of opening Photoshop, and just playing around. I'm not as great as some designers, especially since I've been doing it for 5 years now. But, that doesn't matter. I'm free to have at Photoshop with my imagination and really bring things to life in my eyes.

Forum Software
I've rather good knowledge on multiple forum software, as I've used them over the years. I started out using vBulletin, I know the fundamentals, though I've grown a bit rusty since I've started using myBB. I know myBB rather in and out, I've been using it for several years for projects, and what not. I currently run a rather small forum for a gaming community and it is running myBB, as well I am opening up a new gaming forum that will also be running myBB. It's by far my favorite forum software, and probably will remain that way for a while.

Debate
Though I haven't participated in any debates here, I do love debating. The thrill of the argument, and passionate posts. I enjoy it, and I look forward to posting more in the section in the future. When it comes to debating, it's a very passionate thing for me, especially when it comes down to some topics, I will defend, and argue against a topic passionately, and do my best to prove my point. I'm a humble victor, but not a sore loser when I'm proven wrong.

I'm a rather laid-back happy go lucky fella to be honest. I can hold a very serious conversation, then immediately switch to a funny, joking around conversation. I'm a friendly dude, that aims to make friends.

Why do you want to be a Guardian?:
I want to join for a number of reasons, mostly because I love helping people whenever I can and I don't really give up on someone unless its 100% impossible to continue working with them. ( In the case of deaths for example ) I also love the overall design of the group, the userbar, icon and what the group stands for. Beyond that, I have been looking for a group to join, and this one looks like the most interesting when it comes to standards, and looks. I haven't really seen much of the group, but that is also a reason why I would like to join the group, so I can spread a good reputation for the group. ( See, I want to join the group to help the group! :tongue: ) I also have basic knowledge of the current members of this group and I have nothing really negative to say about these member, which means ( most likely ) that the basis for members of this group is pretty good.

You could just as well as if I enjoy living. I live by the term; "Live to serve", but only those that deserve it. So I won't help people that are complete assholes, unless I have a reason. However, I won't take personal Vendetta's into account for this. So the answer is; Yes I love to help others.

I am terrible at explaining anything about myself, so I'll just go ahead and tell what people say about me in general. Both good and bad I guess. I hear a lot that I am kind, helpful and for some strange reason people say that I am a "safe" person that they can fully trust. People also states that I am a tad stubborn and I don't easily back down unless I have been shown absolute proof that I am wrong. Some people have also called me insane for the way I think about the world, I mean that everything, every action, every result has at least 2 ways of going and turning out. So I try to see a situation from every perspective I can think off.

Why do you want to be a Guardian?: I want to be a Guardian because I love helping people out with there problems & I also love helping people through difficult personal problems & make sure they have a better day. I will not stop talking to that personal until I am sure they are okay and I will listen till I go deaf, just to make sure everything is okay.


Do you enjoy helping people?: I love it. My goal is to help people in bad situations & in terrible situation. I won't give up on a person until that person if happier and healthier with there problems. I also love to listen to everyone, I will get both sides of a story in a situation and make the best judgement on the information I was given.

Describe your personality: Easy going, Very nice, respectful & have an annoying habit of always asking if someone is alright or how they are doing. I am truthful & I treat other people how I would like to be treated in return. I am calm and relaxed, I don't get worked up or stressed very much at all and I am curious and inquisitive, I have a lot of interests, in some many different areas of life, I believe life is a great big adventure with so much to discover and many opportunities. I am caring, I have suffered a lot in my life but now I am happy, I have developed a great compassion for other people and am always willing to help people out when ever I can. I am resilient, I have come through many hardships and have become quite a tough old nut, takes a lot to get me down. I guess these are ll my better qualities I must have some negative also, but apart from being stubborn I cannot think of any right now.

Why do you want to be a Guardian?:
I want to be a Guardian because I feel like this is the group that suits me the most. I have never encountered a problem with any of the groups members, they all seem very mature and extremely helpful. Being a guardian would not only mean I would need to be more active, but it would also motivate me to be a much more active member because I would always be looking for threads that need helping with.

Do you enjoy helping people?:
Yes I do enjoy helping people, it's really what my life consists of. I go out of my way to help others that are seeking even when I need help myself. I'm glad I changed into the person I am today, because I saved many of my friends lives, and that's a great feeling.

Special skills:
I have a few skill sets that may benefit the group in the future.

Generosity:
I am certainly not the richest on this forum that's for sure, but when I do have money, I don't really spend it on anything I need so when people ask for things, I tend to help them if I am able to. I bought a few things before and just went on other forums and just gave them away because I didn't need them or didn't want them anymore. I plan on doing some major giveaways in the future and hopefully I can do them in Guardian's name.

Technology:
I have a lot of technology experience so I can offer advice to anyone who needs to fix anything, I can be there to assist them. My strongest subject would be computer talk. I am planning on going to university to study computer science. I want to possibly be an IT or a computer programmer or technician. I have a lot of experience with Apple and Blackberry products as well.

Web Master:
Another thing I am experienced with is web mastery. I created my first forum not too long ago and I pretty much know the MyBB system inside and out(besides coding). I really want to learn how to code and learn every single language that is required. I want to learn Java, Python and pHp before I move onto anything else. I can assist users in helping set up forums and I am pretty good with running a board since I am such a friendly member.

I am a listener. I can sit there for hours listening to friends talk to me about their problems and have the ability to assist them into positive situations. I get along with everyone I meet, honestly. My whole perspective of being a good friend has changed over these past few years. I also became more cautious of who I am friends with. I have been hacked, stepped on, had things stolen from me, ect. All these things have happened and I did absolutely nothing back to gain revenge. I apologized to those meanwhile I did nothing wrong to deserve anything. This is what proves that I am a very loyal, friendly human being.
