It's likely he already knew the consequences of his actions, and would rather not face jail and negative publicity for the rest of his life. The idea of being locked away for the rest of your life is too much for some to handle, which is why they choose suicide or death by cop.

But, he's gone now, so we'll never know the answer from him personally. All we can do is analyze his reasons and videos, to hopefully prevent more tragedies like this from happening.

It's called suicide by cop. They intentionally put themselves into a situation where the cop will kill them.

Honestly, he wasn't a serial killer nor was he mentally ill. He was a perfectly functioning person who decided that he was going to go ahead and kill people because he wasn't getting the attention he oh-so required.

I really wonder how the cops feel about this. For someone to kill themselves by having someone else do the deed because they were trained to, it just seems awful.
